The Chipperfields have been associated with entertainment for over three hundred years.
The first recorded Chipperfield show was at
the London ‘Ice Fair’ on the frozen river Thames in 1684.

Over the centuries, the Chipperfields established themselves first with touring menageries progressing to the largest circus in Europe with a Big Top seating audiences up to seven thousand.

In 1966 Jimmy Chipperfield opened the world’s first
Safari Park with the 6th Marquess of Bath on the
Longleat estate.  The concept revolutionised the exhibition of wild animals allowing them to roam free. Many more Safari Parks were opened under the Chipperfield banner around the world.

Now focused on the development of multi-experience mass visitor attractions with our associate company D.P.V. Rides Italy we have the capability to develop unique projects on a turn-key basis offering the bespoke manufacture of rides.
